Food Drive

Bring a non perishable food item for the Shelton Food Bank and receive a ticket for a drawing for one of our new and redesigned Suffield Shakedown tee-shirts.

As many of you know, Shelton High suffered a major fire.  Due to damage from the fire, the Shelton High School Food Bank has been completely destroyed.  Let's have the FIRST community support Team 230, the Gaelhawks, as they restock their shelves!

Additional Rules

  • Safety is a top priority -- please wear safety glasses when working on the robot and in the player station
  • Only drive team and officials will be allowed on the field
  • Gracious Professionalism is the expectation
  • Please remain in the gymnasium, "common area" and main front hallway.  Absolutely no admittance to the rest of the school

Competition Rules

We will be following all the rules outlined for the 2009 FIRST Lunacy game.  We will not be performing robot inspections but trust all teams will keep their robots in compliance with the rules.

Practice Rounds

Morning rounds will have no competition value and are solely for practice.  The number of rounds each team plays will be determined by the number of teams in attendance and their readiness.  Every attempt will be made to provide for a maximum number of rounds for each team.
