Aces High's robot, Pokerface, was a regional finalist at this weekend's Granite State Regional.
Our programmer: Roger Ignazio, pit team: Mark Goodstien, Dave Leenhouts, Rich McDonald, Shahil Kantesaria and others, and drive team: Pat Pease, Justin Foss, and Melanie Chapman worked very hard all weekend to make this happen.
Our scouts and spirit teams were a big help in the effort, keeping our spirits up and providing valuable scouting information to all the teams at the event.
Special thanks to our alliance captians: Team 319, Prospect Mountain High School, Alton, NH and their robot "Big Bob". Without them we would not have made it to the finals.
Our alliance partners: Team 562, Montachusett Regional Vocational Technical School, Fitchburg, MA "Team SPARK". Who worked with us to compliment "Big Bob"
And our friends at BAE including Team 811 Raytheon Company & Bishop Guertin High School and Team 175 "Buzz Robotics" UTC Hamilton Sundstrand Space, Land & Sea & Enrico Fermi High School who cheered for us throughout the elimination rounds.
See you at the UTC New England Regional Next week!
